Tilt & Turn Windows

Wind Zone: Very High
E Final.png

High-tech internal hardware is at the heart of every uPVC tilt and turn window. It enables effortless turning and tilting of the window sash with a single handle operation. When you turn the handle through 90°, the window “tilts” inwards. Hinged at the bottom and with a stay at the top, it allows a free flow of air for ventilation. Turn the handle a further 90° and the window “turns” fully inwards on its side for maximum ventilation, fresh air and ease of cleaning.

Tilt and turn windows are popular especially in Europe, where it is by far the most common type of window. uPVC profile is best suited for tilt and turn because it provides the flexibility necessary for integrating with the hardware. Tilt and turn windows also provide an escape route in case of emergency when conventional ways of exit are not possible.
